Prerequisites: An administrator has configured a crawl job. The Upload Permissions for your role allow VIEW access to the crawl job. The Upload option has been added to the main menu bar.
The Upload option lets users select and run a pre-configured crawl job. A successful upload results in records being added or modified.
For example, a Network File Connector job will discover binary files (doc, docx, pdf, gif, jpg, ppt, etc.) on your network and capture the file and metadata information (such as Title and Creator) into Presto content type records.

Choose Upload from the main menu bar, then use the Wizard as follows.
Step 1: Select a Crawl Job and Upload Path:
Assign a Run Job Name or use the default (username, date, current time).
Select a Crawl Job Name from the list.
Check Recurse Folders if you want the crawl job to include subfolders of the Upload Path.
The Upload Path path is determined by the connector defined for the crawl job.To start in a subfolder, click the name (not the icon) of a subfolder.
Click Continue.
Step 2: Add Initial Upload Record Data provides a separate section for each content type. The information you enter will be applied to each record that is processed by the job. Click Continue.
Final Step: Pipeline Upload Summary summarizes the job. Review the summary, then click Run or go back to a previous step. If you decide not to run the job, select any other operation to cancel out of the wizard.
